Julie Hammond, RN

Julie Hammond, RN, is a field case manager with a focus on worker’s compensation, longshore and liability cases.

She graduated from the University of North Florida, and was licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Florida in 1992. She began her practice in traumatic brain injury rehabilitation at Memorial Regional Rehabilitation Center (now known as Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital). Her practice also encompassed other areas of rehabilitation, including CVA, spinal cord injury, pediatric, chronic pain and multiple traumas. She left the acute care setting in 1994 to become an office nurse for a local group of physiatrists.

Ms. Hammond earned her CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) in 1994 and ventured into the case management arena by joining Concentra in 1997. She has also worked as the Health Director for a local non-profit agency that assisted children and young adults with both genetic and acquired disabilities to learn to live independently.

Ms. Hammond recently joined the professionals at Spruance & Associates, Inc., and is working toward her certification as a Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC). She maintains her CRRN certification and is licensed through the state of Florida as a Qualified Rehabilitation Provider.
