Lisa Hellier, M.S., CRC, CCM, CVE, CDMS, CLCP, MSCC
Lisa Hellier has been a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant in Jacksonville, FL since 1979. She received her bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and masters degree in Counseling and Human Systems from Florida State University. During the past twenty-three years Ms. Hellier has conducted vocational assessments and evaluations on hundreds of disabled clients. She is skilled in vocational interviewing, vocational testing and establishing a vocational rehabilitation plan.
Ms. Hellier began working for Spruance and Associates, Disability Mangement Company in 1990. She is responsible for providing professional consultation services and vocational evaluations. Services include a comprehensive assessment, medical file review, interviewing and job goal development. A thorough labor market survey is conducted in order to assist the disabled in returning to competitive employment.
As an expert in disability management and the world of work, she has specialized in developing retraining plans, labor market surveys for workers compensation carriers, personal injury cases, maritime industry, railroad employees and longshore cases. She provides case management and vocational rehabilitation services for the injured worker employed by local area hospitals and other self-insured employers.
Ms. Hellier is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Certified Disability Management Specialist, Certified Vocational Evaluator, State of Florida Rehabilitation Provider, Medicare Set-Aside Specialist, Certified Life Care Planner and Qualified Case Manager. She has previous experience as a Vocational Expert for Social Security Administration, Office of Hearing and Appeals, and as a Rehabilitation Counselor for the U.S. Department of Labor.
