Susan Butler, B.A., CPE
Susan Butler is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and earned her paralegal degree in 1987. Since 1987, she has worked as a paralegal with a private attorney managing a large Social Security practice.
In 1984, she became an independent Social Security consultant/representative specializing in all aspects of Social Security disability law, representation before Administrative Law Judges, preparation of Appeals Briefs and freelance consulting to other disability and Social Security offices. In October 2003, she began working for Spruance and Associates, Inc.
Ms. Butler has brought her considerable Social Security experience to our office as a Representative and paralegal. In this capacity she interviews our claimants, assists in paperwork, prepares their cases for hearing by obtaining and developing medical evidence, corresponds with treating physicians, represents claimants before Administrative Law Judges and prepares appeals.
Ms. Butler enjoys speaking with and appearing before support groups and other agencies to help them better prepare claimants for the Social Security process and acquaint them with Social Security law.
